Keep it clean!

To keep your Propress steamer performing at its best and to help extend its working life, it is important to rinse and descale it regularly.

The Propress PRO range is designed for use with normal tap water. However, water hardness varies between regions, and limescale can build up more quickly in hard water areas.

For steamers used daily in a hard water area, we recommend:

• Rinsing the steamer once a week
• Descaling the steamer once a month

If your steamer is used less frequently, rinsing and descaling can be carried out less often. Always follow the cleaning and descaling instructions provided in the product manual and watch the video below.

TROUBLESHOOTING FAQS

Try plugging into a different socket, if it still does not work, check/replace the fuse in the plug. If problem persists, a service is required.

For 4 Litre steamers check Mode switch / dial is set to steam position. If problem persists a service is required.

For 2 litre steamers try plug in another socket. If problem persists, a service is required.

A service is required.

If steamer is overfilled, empty all water and refill from empty.
If filler cap is cracked, replace. If hose is kinked, replace. If problem persists, a service is required.

Steamer may require thorough cleaning.
Descale using Propress Descaler and follow instructions.
If problem persists, service required.

Ensure hose is fitted correctly.

Caution: only do this when machine is cold.

Tighten screw in handle. Check handle is not cracked.
If problem persists order new hose.

Is machine overfilled?
Empty all water and refill from empty.
If problem persists, service required.
